MISE — FOR iOS, BETA
early access

Capture

Recipes come from everywhere. Mise speaks all of them.

A photo of grandma's handwriting. A screenshot from Instagram. A voice memo while your hands are full. A URL from Smitten Kitchen, NYT Cooking, Serious Eats. Paste from a Notion doc. Mise turns each one into the same kind of object: a structured recipe that knows what's in it, what to do with it, and what it's like to eat.

The parsing screen

Three to five seconds. The graph lights up one layer at a time.

You see the parser work — ingredients resolving, techniques detected, cuisine inferred, flavor profile lighting up — before the recipe lands in your library. The promise of the platform, made visible.

▸ Ingredients resolving… 12 found, 11 matched.▸ Techniques detected: 3 (sear, sweat, deglaze).▸ Cuisine inferred: Sichuan · 92%.▸ Flavor profile: rich · spicy · savory-deep.— recipe ready in 4.1s —

Photo capture

Point at a handwritten card, a cookbook page, or a screenshot. Mise's parser was trained on the messy ones — coffee stains, cursive, missing line breaks, screenshots cropped funny. Multi-page support; review and retake.

Voice capture

Tap and talk. Mise transcribes as you go and parses while you finish. Useful when you want to capture what your aunt's doing as she does it, without writing anything down.

URL capture

Paste a link from any recipe site. Mise extracts the structure and leaves the prose. Captures from external sites stay private to you — we don't republish other people's writing.

Paste capture

Drop in plain text from anywhere — a DM, a Notion doc, an email forward. Mise structures it the same way.

AI prompt → recipe

"A weeknight roasted-vegetable bowl that's high-protein and low-FODMAP." Mise generates against the typed-graph index — real ingredients, real techniques, real provenance. Not a hallucinated recipe with three teaspoons of an ingredient that doesn't exist. (Cook and above.)

Invoice OCR

Point at a supplier delivery sheet. Mise updates the inventory and rolls cost-per-serving forward across every recipe on the menu. (Crew.)

We are the only recipe app that can import your entire Paprika or AnyList library without losing structure. We will stay the only one for a while.
